This is a great opportunity to gain experience working on a TV show that's broadcast on public television. Are you studying media, film, or television? Are you looking for a way to get experience in the music/television industry? Then read this, it might be for you.

If you're into live music scene and want to be more involved, then get involved.

In the RAW is run by volunteers and we're happy to have more people onboard. As long as you're keen to continue creating a program that's different from the run of the mill music TV shows – making it as edgy, local and relevant as you can.

All we ask if you volunteer is that you be artistic, and by that we don't mean that you enjoy painting portraits of ducks on a Sunday afternoon. No, we mean that you should have a unique perspective in the way you view the world.

Our wish-list of the types of people we want are:

 

PRESENTERS

If you've got a good knowledge of the music scene and you're interested in music journalism, we'd like to hear from you. If you have a personality that wants to on camera, send us an email.

Email info@intherawtv.net with your contact details, relevant experience and a link to some examples of your work (if possible). Place the word, "Presenter," in the subject line. Please also include a list of the types of bands you like.

 

CAMERA OPERATORS

Do you want to go to gigs and film bands? Do you have access to a camera that is broadcast quality (3CCD)? (Not sure, you might need to ask someone.) If you can supply the camera, we can get you on the door.

Email info@intherawtv.net with the words "Cam operator" in the subject line and put your name, contact details, and relevant experience in the body of the email. Also add a list the types of bands you like because we want you to work on gigs where there’re bands you like.

 

EDITORS

Do you want to be more involved in film and television post-production? Do want experience in editing for television and making music videos?

Email info@intherawtv.net with your contact details, relevant experience, types of bands you like (because we'd want you to be working on footage and clips of bands that you like). Put the word, "Editor," in the subject line.

 

CONTENT PROVIDERS
(30 second long skits, animations, art footage, etc... Crazy stuff)

This is an opportunity to get your short film assignments broadcast on TV and credited on the show, little animations, art footage, and that kind of thing, anything up to 45 seconds long.

Examples for this will be posted soon, but if you're keen, contact info@intherawtv.netwith your contact details, relevant experience and a link to some examples of your work (if possible). Place the words, "Content Provider," in the subject line.

 

OTHER

Do you want to volunteer and learn from experience? That's great. There's always things you can do with us, from helping set up the studio, to operating our cameras and lights, or you could be meeting and greeting the guests, there are loads of things you can get involved with.
